Balloon game – Derivatives
The topics of the seven GAMMA games are included in the mathematics curricula for 14-18 year-old students in all partner countries. The suggestions for implementing these games in the classroom can be found in the intellectual output GAMMA Teaching Scenarios (IO2).
Balloon game – Derivatives
Function Dungeon – Linear function
ProbChallenge – Probability
E(qua)scape room – System of linear equation
Hot-Air Balloon game – Direct proportion and inverse proportion
Yo-Yo Bird game – Trigonometric functions
GeomWiz – Geometry
The two online authoring systems, MaLT2 and ChoiCo, were used to develop four GAMMA games. MaLT2 is an online authoring tool for a symbolic expression in mathematical activities that uses programming to create and manipulate dynamic graphical models. ChoiCo is an online authoring tool that allows users to play and create games based on the idea of ‘choices with consequences’. In the ChoiCo game, the aim of the player is to keep making choices as long as possible without being kicked out of the game.
To facilitate the use of the GAMMA games and the authoring tools MaLT2 and ChoiCo and to increase the motivation for developing the games in these tools, MaLT2 and ChoiCo manuals and videos have been developed with instructions and subtitles in the project languages and English.

Α Focused Authoring System (FAS) is a digital game template that contains both digital and textual files and its main feature is that it can be authorised by others. It is a useful tool that allows users other than the designer to develop and create their own game. Four FASs have been developed in the GAMMA project, two for each authoring tool MaLT2 and ChoiCo. The FASs are used in the development of the GAMMA games.
