The 7th Croatian Mathematical Congress was held in Split, Croatia, June 15-18, 2022. The Congress was originally scheduled for 2020, but was postponed to 2022 due to the Covid 19 pandemic.

The Croatian Mathematical Congress is a central mathematical event in Croatia, (usually) organized every four years. The goal of the Congress is to exchange of recent developments, ideas and problems in all areas of pure and applied mathematics. The scientific program includes plenary lectures and invited talks by distinguished senior scientists, the Croatian Mathematical Society Award Lecture, as well as contributed section talks and poster presentations. There were six plenary lectures, sixteen invited talks, 119 short communications and 24 poster presentations. More than 200 mathematicians from 15 countries participated in the work of the Congress.

In addition to the scientific part of the Congress, a round table discussion on mathematical education in Croatia was organized.

In the poster presentation “Digital games in the mathematics classrooms: teacher perspectives from different countries” we presented some results obtained by survay that was conducted among secondary mathematics teachers from Croatia, Finland, Greece and the Netherlands as a part of the ERASMUS + project Game-based learning in mathematics (GAMMA). In addition, we highlighted some similarities and differences in the perceptions and attitudes of teachers from different countries towards the use of digital games in mathematics education.
