The physical GAMMA Learning, Teaching and Training Activity (LTTA) in Finland took place on January 16-20, 2023. The meeting was organized together with GAMMA Finland partners Satakunta University of Applied Sciences and Porin lukio general upper secondary school. On Monday 16th, Wednesday 18th, Thursday 19th and Friday 20th was held in Satakunta university of applied sciences. On Tuesday 17 th was held in Porin lukio general upper secondary school. A total of 30 participants from four partner countries (28 physical participants and two virtual participants).
The main purpose of the GAMMA LTTA in Finland was to collect feedback from piloting’s, discuss finalization of the results and planning dissemination activities. In addition to these, get to know the Finnish education system and culture.
The first day, Monday 16 th, started with welcoming session given by the dean of faculty of technology from Satakunta University of Applied Sciences and a presentation about Finnis educational system given by the principal of Porin lukio general upper secondary school. Second session was a workshop where feedback on the piloting was collected. After these, the invited lecturers gave a presentation about Gamification and serious games in health and well-being and showed demonstrations in the RoboAI laboratory. Then continued the workshops on feedback from the piloting. At the end of the day all participants held the day-debriefing.
The second day, Tuesday 17 th, the participants got to know different lessons at Porin lukio general upper secondary school and the participants were able to try the mathematics matriculation exam. The participants were divided into four different groups, and they got to know four different lessons. Each group had different lessons. In Finland, matriculation exams are held entirely online. The participants were able to try out how the test works.
The third day, Wednesday 18 th, A presentation was held on the Dissemination responsibilities in the GAMMA project and then the participants were able to plan different dissemination activities in the workshop. After this, the participants were divided into two groups, where the teachers planned new scenarios and the university partners reviewed the project results. After that, the invited lecturer gave a lecture about Cognitive AI In Educational Planning. The day ended with a day-debriefing and SC and QCC meeting.
The fourth day, Thursday 19 th, the participants got to see the RoboAI laboratory of the Satakunta University of Applied Sciences. They were divided into four different groups and each group got to see four different workshops: ABB IRB120 robot, Omron LD-90 mobile robot, 3D printing and machine vision. The participants were able to program and experiment themselves. After this, there was a presentation about teachers’ technology teaching.
The fifth and the final day, Friday 20 th, started with a handbook session where we went through the videos and made short videos about each game. The day ended with a closing session, where the events of the week were reviewed, future steps were discussed and the next transnational project meeting was introduced.
During the LTTA week, the participants got to talk and get to know each other better. At the same time creating positive teamwork. In addition to this, the participants took part in various social events where they got to know Finnish culture, history, food, music, sports and nature.
