The GAMMA project and the project results were presented at the GAMMA final conference. The conference took place on 31 August 2023 at the School of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science, University of Osijek, Croatia, and was the largest GAMMA dissemination activity in Croatia. Teachers from primary and secondary schools as well as professors and assistants from different faculties participated in the conference. The participants came from different parts of Croatia.

The project was presented by Mirela Jukić Bokun from the School of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science and senior adviser Jelena Noskov from the Education and Teacher Training Agency, Croatia. Guest lecturer Tomislav Jagušt from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University of Zagreb, Croatia gave a lecture entitled Game-based learning and gamification, while members of the GAMMA project Ljerka Jukić Matić and Darija Marković from the School of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science gave a lecture entitled Implementation of GBL in mathematics teaching. Karolina Brleković, member of the project GAMMA from Elektrotehnička i prometna škola Osijek, Croatia introduced the participants to the activities within the e-Twinning project GAMMA for all. Workshops were also held where participants had the opportunity to learn about GAMMA teaching scenarios and play GAMMA games. These workshops were led by members of the GAMMA teams from GAMMA partner organisations: from the School of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science they were led by Mihaela Ribičić Penava, Dragana Jankov Maširević and Mateja Đumić, from Elektrotehnička i prometna škola Osijek by Snježana Bošnjak and Marin Kanaet, and from Srednja škola Markantuna de Dominisa Rab, Croatia by Darko Muža. During the meeting, a poster section was held to present teachers’ experiences with game-based learning (GBL) to the participants. Before the evaluation and closing of the conference, a panel discussion on GBL was held, where participants had the opportunity to hear about teachers’ experiences in using GAMMA games and scenarios.

During the coffee breaks and lunch, participants had the opportunity to socialise and share experiences in a relaxed environment.

The evaluation of the meeting showed that participants were extremely satisfied with the organisation, found the content interesting and useful, enriched their knowledge of GBL and will recommend GAMMA intellectual results to their colleagues.
